Mrs. Annie Hoekzema
Annie Hoekzema joined us in the fall of 2010 as our 4th Grade teacher. She came to BCS from Heritage Christian, where she taught 3rd grade for the previous three years. She brings a creative, engaging style of instruction to her classroom and enjoys teaching to her students’ minds and hearts. She works to challenge them using a variety of techniques in order to develop their strengths so they can be used for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Annie grew up in Michigan, attended Christian schools through high school, and graduated from Calvin College with an Elementary Education major, with minors in English and Fine Arts. She enjoys projects that involve hands-on creativity, golfing, biking, running, traveling and playing/watching sports. Annie and her husband Craig, an ENT resident at Froedert, live in Franklin, WI.
