Tuition & Fees

Every effort is made by the BCS School Board to keep tuition at an affordable level. Students are charged a comprehensive fee that covers books and tuition. BCS relies on donations and fundraisers to bridge the difference between tuition charged and the cost of education.  Tuition is approved by the BCS Board in the spring of each year.  Please do not let cost prohibit you from considering Brookfield Christian School.  Please contact the school office to discuss tuition for your family.

Tuition Tax Deduction
Beginning in tax year 2014, parents with a child in a private school may be able to receive a Wisconsin state tax deduction for tuition. Under the program, parents may be able to deduct up to $4000 per student in grades K-8, and up to $10,000 per high school student. Tuition paid after Jan. 1, 2014 will count toward the deduction. For more information, visit www.wcris.org/tuitiontaxdeduction.cfm.  Please consult your tax advisor for your specific circumstances.

Tuition Assistance
At BCS, we are committed to keeping tuition at an affordable level and providing financial assistance to families with demonstrated need.  Brookfield Christian School has a tuition assistance program to which families may apply.  Aid is granted on the basis of demonstrated need and the availability of funds.  Financial Aid applications are submitted to a third party and reviewed and approved by the Finance Committee.  Currently approximately 25% of our students receive some form of tuition assistance.  Families enrolling students in K-8 are eligible to apply for aid.

SCRIP
Our SCRIP Program is another way to save on your tuition. Gift cards purchased through the school return a percentage of the dollars spent that will be directly credited to your tuition bill. There are hundreds of area and national retailers represented in this program such as Pick ‘n’ Save, Kohl’s, Culver’s, clothing stores, restaurants, gas stations and even airlines and hotel chains.  Anyone can participate in this program so plan early and start accumulating tuition credit while your child is a newborn! Your family and friends can also participate and direct their rebates toward your tuition account. To learn more about SCRIP, contact the school office, and check out the SCRIP website.
