GOD’S FAITHFULNESS WAS EVIDENT as Milwaukee Christian School families, friends, and supporters gathered to celebrate the dedication of our $1.3 million dollar building expansion. Music was provided by the Marquette University Brass Quintet.

School Board President Rob Buikema opened the ceremonies with prayer, and introduced founding families, faculty, and volunteers who were instrumental in bringing the project to fruition. Rob then introduced Kindergarten teacher and original BCS Society member JoAnne Brasser to read a litany. Rev. Stuart Briscoe, Senior Pastor of Elmbrook Church was the featured speaker, basing his comments on Proverbs 9:10: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Principal and Administrator Bob Wiers invited all BCS students in attendance to come to the front, then reminded us that they are the reason that we build, and teach, and support, and pray. After Mr. Wiers closed with prayer, the people followed the brass band into the upper floor of the new building addition, and sang three verses of Great is Thy Faithfulness.

The ceremony of praise was followed by an open house, book fair, and refreshments.
