JULIE MYSZKOWSKI GREW UP in St. Francis, Wisconsin, and later attended UW-Eau Claire. In 1990, she earned a bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy. Before starting her family, Julie worked at Mt. Carmel Health Care Center with geriatrics. With the arrival of her three sons, Julie became a stay-at-home mom.
Since 2001, she has worked at the Singing Tree with pre-school age children, and still works there part time. Reading is one of Julie’s favorite pastimes, and she also enjoys scrapbooking, hiking, camping, theatre, visiting historical sites, traveling, cooking, movies, and spending time with her sons. Julie came to BCS at the beginning of the 2004-05 school year.
When asked what she likes about teaching at BCS, Julie replied, “I have found the staff to be very warm, helpful, and friendly. I was told by a BCS parent before coming to work here that the staff was made up of some really nice people and she was 100% right. For the most part I find the children respectful, enthusiastic and willing to step out of their comfort zones and try music. Also, being in a Christian environment lets me be ME, a Christian.”
