When she’s not working with the littlest Eagles at BCS, Mrs. Wilcox enjoys spending time with her family traveling, running, hiking, boating, downhill and water skiing. She loves to cook, read, and teach fitness classes. She is married and lives with their three teenagers in Sussex, WI. She and her family attend St. James.

Lisa's favorite passage of Scripture is Romans 8:28 - "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”  She says, “I know that when I set my focus on Him my life flows with love and healing. Even when judgement or negativity in the world may surround me, I feel strengthened by his word , and know that sharing, teaching and believing in his LOVE is what will bring this world more PEACE.”

When asked why she chose to join the teaching team at BCS, Mrs. Wilcox responded, "I am so excited to begin this new journey with this kind and supportive staff. I feel God led me back into my passion of serving young children through some of the faithful families that attend here. I am so blessed to teach young children in such an amazing faith-based community. I believe young children learn best through hands-on activities and play-based experiences which BCS provides through both academics and faith-based lessons. God's greatest gift is our children and I can't wait to live, learn, and grow in God's love with the 3K students and staff."
