Brookfield Christian School believes that an interscholastic athletic program supports and complements the total education process. This process concerns the complete person and includes their growth as an individual – spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially.

Interscholastic athletics provides eligible students with opportunities to use his/her God-given talents and abilities in a team sport. A Christ-centered attitude and behavior is expected of all players, coaches, parents, and fans at all times.

The goals of the athletic program at BCS are to provide:

  • a positive learning experience
  • a positive base for Christian development
  • an understanding of competition, emphasizing sportsmanship, sacrifice, teamwork and skill development
  • a knowledge and understanding of the basic concepts of the sport

Brookfield Christian School offers:

Girls Volleyball

The Girls Volleyball season runs from the beginning of September through the end of October, culminating in the Lake Area Christian Conference (LACC) tournament. We have 2 levels of teams: the 5/6 grade, which has a developmental focus, and the 7/8, which is a little more competitive and preparatory for high school. We work to ensure that girls on both teams are having a positive experience, regardless of their skill level.

Basketball

The BCS Eagles basketball season begins in late October and runs through mid February. We compete in the Lake Area Christian Conference (LACC) and also participate in non-conference games. The teams compete in several tournaments throughout the season. BCS hosts the 5/6 Grade LACC Tournament in February. To end the season, the 7/8 teams compete in the LACC Conference tournament and travel to the CSI Tournament.

Cross Country

Brookfield Christian School offers Cross Country for 5th – 8th grade students that practices together during the fall season, and participates in several cross country events with local schools. We also take part in a number of races that include runners from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Those events are a great way to introduce younger children to running with their classmates.

Track & Field

Athletes in grades 5-8 participate in several local track meets and an annual CSI District IV track meet, competing in various track and field events against fellow CSI schools from around Southeastern Wisconsin.

Little Eagles Basketball and Soccer

Our Little Eagles program is offered for girls and boys in K-4th grade. The basketball season is offered on Saturdays in the fall for basketball and soccer on Saturdays in the spring. Players are grouped by age, and volunteer coaches guide them through fun games and drills to develop basic skills.  By the end of the season, players scrimmage and show off what they have learned.
