What to Expect

The Brookfield Christian School FELLOWSHIP DINNER & AUCTION is our school’s largest annual fundraising event.  It features both a silent and live auction, as well as other exciting opportunities for giving. The evening provides a way for you to meet new people and connect to the greater BCS community!

Schedule of Events

5:30-7:30 – Arrival, Registration, Silent Auction, and Fellowship

Silent Auction tables close on a rolling basis beginning at 7:00pm.  Special areas such as Cork Pull, Pick Six and Trading Post (formerly Mystery Envelope) sell out quickly so come as early as you are able.

7:30-10:00 – Dinner and Live Auction with professional auctioneer

10:00-11:00 – Fellowship and time to claim your winning items

Why we Gather

Brookfield Christian School’s mission is to offer a Christ-centered education that prepares students to learn, to lead, and to serve faithfully in God’s world.  The Fellowship Dinner and Auction is a time that current BCS parents, school staff, relatives, alumni, and friends gather in support of our school and of our mission.

What to Wear

The Fellowship Dinner and Auction is traditionally a semi-formal event.  This year, however, you may see a few of our guests slipping on some western wear!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we request who we would like to sit with?

Yes. Write your request on the back of the rsvp card. We will make every attempt to honor all requests.  If you aren’t sure who you would like to sit with our Dinner Team is excellent at creating fun tables with familiar faces.

How do we bid on items in the Silent Auction?

If you would like to bid on an item, you will enter your bid number which you will receive at registration on the bid sheet accompanying the item. By using your bid number rather than your name, the process is kept somewhat anonymous. The highest bidder “wins” as the tables are systematically closed. Closings will be announced ahead of time.

What is the Live Auction?

The Live Auction features items considered likely to bring in larger bids – vacations near and far, larger packages, Packers tickets. Should you want to bid on these items, you will have an enlarged bid number to be held up and acknowledged by the auctioneer. We encourage you to consider bidding on the live auction items with others. Some of these packages are easily shared with friends.

How do we pay for our items? Can we use a credit card?

You can pay for your items with cash, check, or credit card. If you plan on paying with a credit card, you may swipe your card upon arrival to Davians. This will expedite checkout. During the live auction, you will receive a detailed receipt of your purchases. All items and certificates are to be taken home that evening.

Do I have to buy items in either the silent or live auctions?

If you attend, you are under no obligation to make a purchase. This is also a time to fellowship with BCS parents, friends and alumni.
