Additional Admissions Information

Parents desiring to enroll their children at Brookfield Christian School must be willing to agree to the following admission requirements:

Spiritual Requirements

Parents must acknowledge that the basis for Christian education at Brookfield Christian School is the Word of God. Students will be taught that God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe and that Jesus Christ, his Son, is our Savior. Parents must agree to make a sincere effort to support and display Christian values in their home.  Read our Statement of Beliefs.

Church Involvement

At least one parent should be an active member of a Bible-believing Christian church. A pastor recommendation is part of the admissions process.

Financial Support and Involvement

Families should be prepared to support the school program with an ability to pay the tuition and fees as set by the School Board. Parent support for the authority of the School Board and its policies for the operation of the school is important. BCS is a parent-governed school that relies on parent volunteers to accomplish its goals, and active participation is encouraged.

Parent Interview

Once an application has been received, the Administrator and a School Board member will interview parents applying for admission to discuss the aims of the school and those of the parents. Following the interview, a recommendation will be made to the Board regarding admission of the family.

Age Requirements

Prospective 3K students must be potty-trained and three years old by September 1 of the school year. Prospective 4K students must be four, and Kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1 of the school year. Contact us for information on our mid-year enrollment policy.

Once the board has formally approved admission for a family, additional steps in the process will be initiated, including academic testing as needed, completion of health and development forms, etc.
