THANK YOU to all who purchased pies as well as all who volunteered. We are blessed by your generosity. See you next year!

Apple Pie Day is a beloved BCS tradition and our second largest annual fundraiser. Each year, our school community comes together to assemble thousands - yes, thousands! - of our "famous" Dutch apple pies all on one day. Funds raised go toward reducing tuition costs for every family at BCS. We made over 4000 of our “famous” BCS Dutch Apple pies this year!

Freshly made pies are boxed and placed in a freezer truck ready for pickup on Apple Pie Day.  Before you place an order - make sure you can pickup during this time.  Pies need to be refrigerated/frozen or baked when you get them home!

                                                                                   Pie orders are now closed

Volunteer With Us

We couldn't make Apple Pie Day a success without our community! BCS parents and staff, along with alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, and friends all come together to pitch in every year. Plan to join in the fun, fellowship, and fundraising, sign up for a shift or two next year!  High schoolers who need volunteer hours are encouraged to sign up.

All About Apple Pie Day

How do we do it?

Wednesday night, many helping hands assemble boxes and set up. On Thursday morning, topping is made and that evening, hundreds of bushels of apples are delivered. By Friday night, hundreds of pounds of sugar, flour, cinnamon and apples are transformed into thousands of the most delicious Dutch apple pies you’ll ever taste!

Who can take part?

We welcome parents, staff, alumni, grandparents and friends of the school to pitch in. High school students, including many BCS alumni, come from all over the area to help (and earn volunteer hours!), adding a welcome surge of youthful enthusiasm. Everyone has a great time on the assembly line renewing acquaintances, peeling, coring, slicing, inspecting, filling, boxing, bagging, hauling, and cleaning.

How can I order pies?

How can I help during the event?

Many opportunities for people of all ages are available to make this event a huge success. Online volunteer registration now open!  We also welcome donations of food and beverages to feed the hungry volunteers throughout the day.

If you would like to help underwrite the costs of some of the materials needed to make and package the pies, please contact our Apple Pie Day Coordinators.
