Affording BCS
Every effort is made by the BCS Board to keep tuition at an affordable level. BCS does not participate in any Choice or Voucher Programs. However, our school benefits from donations and fundraisers that help to bridge the gap between tuition charged and the cost of education. Tuition rates are approved by the BCS Board in the spring of each year. Please do not let cost prohibit you from considering Brookfield Christian School. Please contact us to discuss tuition for your family.
Tuition Discounts
Tuition discounts are available for multiple student families.
Tuition Assistance
At BCS, we are committed to keeping tuition at an affordable level and providing financial assistance to families with demonstrated need. Families enrolling students in K-8 are eligible to apply for assistance which is granted on the basis of demonstrated need and the availability of funds. Financial assistance applications are submitted annually to a third party and reviewed and approved by the Finance Committee. Approximately 25% of our students receive some form of tuition assistance. Contact us if you wish to apply for financial assistance.
Tuition Tax Deductions
Parents with a child in a private school may be able to receive a Wisconsin state tax deduction for tuition. Parents can deduct up to $4,000 per K-8th grade student. For more information, visit https://www.wcris.org/school-resources/k-12-tuition-tax-deduction/.
In addition, legislation passed makes it possible to pay for K-12 school expenses using funds from a 529 Savings Plan account. “Qualified higher education expense” now includes up to $10,000 in annual expenses for tuition in connection with enrollment or attendance at an elementary or secondary public, private, or religious school.
Please consult your tax advisor for your specific circumstances.
