Our Heavenly Father,
You are good and gracious to us all, and your mercies are new daily. We thank you for the blessings of a new year.
We ask for your protection and safety over our children. Give them a thirst for knowledge and understanding. May they grow in good health physically, mentally, and spiritually this upcoming school year.
Bless our kids with meaningful friendships that will build each other up and sharpen one another towards you. In a world full of unrest and uncertainty, give them the peace that surpasses all understanding and help them to find their joy in you and you alone.
Give parents grace and peace as we send our children to school to learn, and let this be a year where you strengthen families to be closer than ever to each other and to you. Give us patience as we navigate additional responsibilities and obligations in this new season.
Give strength and guidance to our teachers and staff to love and lead these young souls well.
When we ask these things, we know you are faithful to hear our prayers. We ask all of this in the glorious name of your son, Jesus Christ.
