Mrs. Bachhuber joined the BCS staff as one of the 5K teachers in 2016. She is married and has two children, a son and a daughter and they attend Spring Creek Church. Mrs. Bachhuber loves spending time with her family whether it is taking a family vacation or simply playing soccer or basketball in their yard. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, tennis, soccer and she especially enjoys curling up with a good book.

“I believe that my role as a Christian is to nurture, encourage and witness to not only my students, but all those I come in contact with about my faith in Jesus. I love teaching and I love my students. I feel that God has put a passion in my heart to teach. My classroom is an enthusiastic, positive and motivating place to learn and grow. I believe that learning should be fun. By building strong relationships with my students I can plan lessons that will scaffold them to our learning goals. This will also help me develop and implement intervention strategies to help them succeed. I always encourage and motivate my students to do their very best.”

One of her favorite passages from the Bible is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” She says, “It is the verse that my husband and I choose for each of our children’s dedications. It confirms that God has a purpose and a plan for each one of us.”

Mrs. Bachhuber shares, “I love the community at BCS. The faculty fosters a loving and caring environment for students and their families. They not only help students to succeed academically but help grow them in their love and knowledge of God.”
