Señora Guerra taught previously at BCS when we needed to fill our Spanish teacher position unexpectedly midyear. She says, “in my experience, BCS is a compassionate community and a well-known school for their academics.” We welcomed her back to BCS to teach Spanish in the fall of 2024.
When Señora Guerra is not teaching, she enjoys playing tennis, going for walks, reading and traveling to visit her children. Her family loves pets - they have 2 dogs and four cats - traveling, and enjoying a great restaurant together. She and her husband reside in Brookfield and attend St. Dominic.
Señora Guerra says, “I believe that intercultural awareness or competence is needed to achieve peace, I would like to serve God by promoting tolerance and respect in my students towards other cultures by helping them identify the differences and commonalities.”
Her favorite passage of Scripture is Ephesians 4, for its guidance on living the Christian life.
