Mrs. Ellen Kellogg

4K Teacher

• Education: BA - Early Childhood Education, Mount Mary University 

Mrs. Kellogg has served in our 4K classrooms as both a teacher and a classroom aide since joining the BCS team in 2014.  She says, "I love that I can walk with other families that are raising children to know and trust the Lord. Leading praise and worship time in the 4K classroom is always a joy-filled moment in my teaching day." When not in the classroom, Mrs. Kellogg enjoys time outdoors, music and trying new recipes. She and her family currently live in Brookfield. They attend Brookfield Christian Reformed Church, where Ellen serves on the music worship team, playing violin.

Mrs. Kellogg's favorite passage of Scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, which says: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.” She says, "this verse reminds me that I trust in a God who will guide me through this journey of life, and acknowledges that He knows my limitations and provides a good path for my life."
