Mrs. Raegan Hutton

• Education:Elementary Education and Special Education from Wheaton College 

Mrs. Hutton joined the BCS team in the fall of 2024 as a Kindergarten teacher. Outside of school, she loves spending time with family, hiking, traveling, painting, and reading. She and her husband are trying to visit many of our national parks!

She says, “I am looking forward to teaching in a school that puts Christ first! To encourage students in their relationships with the Lord and to grow in my own are two of the main reasons I chose to come work for BCS.“

Her favorite passage in the Bible is Philippians 4:4-5, which says:  “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” Mrs. Hutton says, I often return to these verses in scripture. To ‘rejoice always’ doesn’t always seem like it is possible. But throughout this letter, Paul clearly expresses joy amidst hard circumstances. He shares that the secret to true joy, to abounding joy, is the fact that the Lord is with you and is near. This gives me such hope and gives all the reason to… rejoice!”
