Mrs. Renee Adams is a graduate of BCS and we were happy to welcome her back! Renee started as our 3K teacher and now teaches 5K. Mrs. Adams lives in Mequon with her husband, who is a teacher at Homestead High School, and her three children. In her free time, Renee enjoys spending time with her kids, swimming in the pool and going to watch her husband’s football games.

“Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Teaching is what I love to do and it is what I am feel I was called from God to do. The littlest learners are the best to work with! I feel that each child is a unique creation of God and I love their enthusiasm for school, their joy for life and what they bring to each day to make it great!

My mission as a teacher is to motivate, encourage, inspire, and support students by providing a secure, safe and loving environment to educate them spiritually, emotionally, socially and cognitively so they can continue to build a foundation for lifelong learning. I love using B.E.S.T practices in my classroom-Believing in one another, Encouraging one another, Sharing with one another, and Trusting one another. This applies to every relationship we encounter, whether it be teacher to child, teacher to teacher, teacher to parent or child to child.”

One of her favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11 – “‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” She says, “it’s a verse that has stuck with me my entire life. I find it comforting to know that God has a plan for those who trust in him. Ironically it has been the class verse for all the schools I have attended throughout my schooling. I am excited to share this message of hope with the children of BCS and instill in them the faith that this verse has helped build me.”
