Ms. Sarah De Smith

Ms. De Smith joined the BCS faculty in the fall of 2022 as one of our 4th Grade teachers. When she’s not teaching, she loves reading and to spend time outside in nature. She decided to make the move to the Milwaukee area to be closer to family, and says she felt drawn to the community and commitment to Christian Education of BCS.
Ms. De Smith says, “I was fortunate to grow up attending Christian schools from preschool through college, and they had a tremendous influence on my life. My teachers were committed to helping me grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally and guided me as I became a disciple of Christ. As a Christian educator myself, I make that same commitment to my students.” Before coming to BCS, Ms. De Smith taught for 8 years at Christian schools in Minnesota.
Her favorite passage of scripture is Psalm 23, because she loves the image of God caring for us like a shepherd.
